It is no surprise that when it comes to concern over hairstyles, ladies are in the lead. About 66% of women think that their hairstyle is due for a major change, according to an InStyle magazine survey. Of that percentage, 25% report that they think a color change would leave them feeling more content with their hairstyle. Similarly, 48% of women surveyed felt that they need a good cut in order to feel satisfied with their look.

The same survey also reported that 74% of women felt that if they changed their hairstyle and did not like the results, then they would figure something out to make it look better. For example, 45% said that if their new hairstyle was too short for their liking, then they would pay to have extensions put on.

Men Have Their Qualms Too

49% of the men that responded to the survey reported that they were “very concerned” with how their hairstyle looked. This, of course, is no surprise to barbers who have worked with men for years and understand that men care about their appearance
